About: 

Tim Cronin is Florida Blue’s vice president and chief procurement officer. In this role, Cronin is responsible for directing the programs and actions of the procurement and corporate real estate functions, including strategic sourcing and supplier selection, contract negotiation and fulfillment for all purchased goods and services, as well as monitoring Florida Blue’s Supplier Relationship Management program.

Prior to joining Florida Blue, he served as vice president of corporate sourcing at AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies in Philadelphia. Prior to AmeriHealth Caritas, Cronin held various management positions in procurement with other companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, Bank of America and Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Cronin holds a Master of Business Administration in logistics and transportation from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
